I am the singer and songwriter for the alternative rock group Buddahead. In 2004, Buddahead released a debut album, Crossing the Invisible Line. We are currently working on the next album. Buddahead is a band with a social conscience, actively supporting Musicians on Call.
My parents split up when I was young, and I spent my first nine years in Iran with my father. At that time, Iran was at war with Iraq. The piano in our house provided a creative path to escape from all the violence. At age nine, I moved to England where my mother lived, to attend a Catholic military boarding school. I now lives in New York City.
